Jeff Winke
Jeff Winke is a graduate of the Sales College of Northwest Ohio and currently splits his time working as a trainer and consultant. A Northwest Ohio native, Jeff grew up on a farm where he learned the benefits of hard work and leadership. This led to serving as FFA president, captain of the wrestling team, and finally a 5th place finish and state championship in wrestling. After attending Bowling Green State University on a scholastic and wrestling scholarship, he was Harbor Master and Sales Manager at Gem Beach Marina. There he learned a different kind of hard work. One that required mental rather than physical strength. While at the marina he maintained 100% occupancy, and received the Commodores Club Award for top 10% sales nationally, for Cruisers, Inc. yachts.
He still stayed connected to his roots working as assistant wrestling coach at Oak Harbor High School for nine years, training several state champions, and helping guide the team to a 2nd place finish in Ohio high school wrestling. During that time he also found continued success in sales where he oversaw seven area Bally’s health clubs to the top spot for sales objectives in the nation and later working with Yark Automotive building their Mitsubishi line. He grew sales to an average of 55 new cars delivered per month while overseeing 8 salesmen, and set a record of 98 new Mitsubishi's delivered in May 1997, a record that still stands in Northwest Ohio.
In 1999, Jeff started Midwest Financial and Mortgage of Toledo with business partner Dan Schlueter. With his experience building a team, he developed the sales and marketing process for the company, recruited and trained the sales staff, and managed the team. At their peak their company included 22 loan officers, earning over 100k each. With Jeff's guidance, the company originated on average 75 closed loans a month for over seven million dollars a month.
Jeff is now president of Successful Behavior Inc. where he uses his years of experience in sales, systems, training and motivation to help large and small companies reach their next level of personal, business and sales success.
